Best Cliffs of Moher Day Tour

Wonderful tour of the Cliffs of Moher

We went on the most wonderful day trip to the cliffs with Irish Day Tours. We had a wonderful tour guide named Bud who gave us a great trip! it turned out to be so much more than a coach trip to the cliffs. Bud told us all about Irish culture, facts about everything we were passing, taught us songs, etc. It was really a highlight of our trip to Dublin all around!
It is an all day tour. You arrive at the bus stop at 630 and you don’t get back until around 9pm. You get to stop at the cliffs, a lovely pub for lunch, a Galway among other rest stops along the way. If you’re going to do the cliffs in a day then this is the way to do it!

Cliffs of Moher

This trip was fabulous, the guide knew all kinds of fascinating trivia, including language-related, and kept the drives lively with singing and jokes. The Cliffs are not to be missed. Well worth going.

Great time at the Cliffs of Moher

My group of friends had a fantastic time at the cliffs and the bus ride was good with a good amount of stops. The bus driver was entertaining and shared lots of information about Ireland and its people. Pretty drive and fun the whole time. But it would have been nicer to have had more time in Galway.

Amazing Day Tour

My friend and I decided to do this tour on the first day of our brief 2 and a half day stint in Dublin. I cannot recommend this tour enough for anyone in Dublin for more than 2 days. After a day and a half, we felt as though we had seen all of the city of Dublin, and this was the perfect excursion. I can’t speak highly enough about the views or the experience. Tuck, our driver and guide, was magnificent. I don’t think the website mentions it, but you get free wifi up to a certian data usage. I used all of mine up by Galway, which was about half of the trip. You can purchase additional wifi for a small fee. The only downside to the trip was Dulin, which is the tiny town where you stop for lunch. You have the option of 3 restaurants and a ice cream parlor, so things get incredibly crowded, especially when there’s multiple tour buses full of people parked there. There’s picnic tables here, so you could easily pack a lunch or pick up food for later at the Obama Center earlier in the tour. The other thing to note- DO NOT wear shoes that you care about on the cliffs. It’s extremely muddy, so your feet will be covered. I wore timberlands and my friend wore sperry rain boots, and we were so thankful. Other than that, dress comfortably for the bus ride!
