Cliffs of Moher / “the craic

Took a tour to the Cliffs of Moher, which are absolutely phenomenal, also taking in the Burren and the Wild Atlantic way. Just as memorable as the natural beauty of these places though was the entertainment created by our tour guide, Joey. He has a great passion for passing on the history and tales of the land and enjoys a good sing-a-long too. I went along with my missus and we were planning on getting some kip on the bus, although Joey had other ideas with his talkathon/singathon… To be fair to him though, he’d definitely won us round by the end of the day and we really enjoyed getting the extra info out of the trip and having a good laugh all round. Only had a short time in Ireland but would love to take another tour next time we’re back.

Cannot recommend enough!

Cannot recommend enough!

I had a blast with my boyfriend on our day tour to the Cliffs of Moher and Corcomroe Abbey. We took this tour May of 2016 and we still can’t shut up about it! I believe our tour guide’s name was Wayne-absolutely hilarious! Extremely knowledgable and very entertaining. My boyfriend ended up emailing Extreme Ireland/Irish Day Tours after the trip to let them know how impressed we were and how much fun we had with our guide, but I figured it was about time to write an actual review. The cliffs were breathtaking and something that had been on my bucket list for quite some time, as I am a huge Harry Potter fan! Our visit to the abbey was surreal, and something I will never forget. Thank you, thank you, thank you Extreme Ireland/Irish Day Tours for providing us with such a wonderful experience that we will be bragging about for the rest of our lives!

Cliffs of Moher Day Tour

I’ve done multiple day tours from Dublin to the Cliffs with different popular companies and this one is by far the best! It stops at way more interesting and beautiful places than others and allows enough time to explore each spot. Our tour guide, Mike Murphy, was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the history of each destination and very entertaining with fun facts about Ireland. He went out of his way to accommodate everyone on the bus. This was definitely the highlight of our trip and I’m so happy we chose Irish Day Tour!

Nice day passed on Cliffs of Mohar tour

Nice day passed on Cliffs of Mohar tour

I and my spouse went to the Cliffs of Mohar tour.
We are not a morning person but woke up for the tour that day. It was worth it.
The whole experience was great.
Ireland in summer in sunny day is beautiful and awesome. We luckily got one of those days.
The driver/guide was very entertaining, he made the whole group engaged in his stories and “leprechaun sightings” ;).
The tour was nicely paced. We saw Cliffs of Mohar, another cliff with nice view, an walking trip in an historical city which we enjoyed a lot, an old cemetery, a chocolate factory, and some other places.
We had lunch on a pub with very tasty food where we had Fish & chips.
Don’t forget sunglass and sunscreen.
I will absolutely recommend this trip on a sunny summer day.
